I've noticed that the dollar value of my collection has moderate changes on almost a day to day basis, which I am assuming is due to people contirbuting new prices to the database. I was wondering, is there a report or a view that shows which cards in my collection actually changed? It might be wishful thinking, but I was envisioning something like a daily or weekly report of all the cards in my collection that have had price changes, and the new price and if it went up or down, almost like a monthly price guide, but for my cards. Am I dreaming, or does this exist? If not, is there a way to get this on a dream list for some future date even if it never happens? I just think it would be cool to get that. Thanks!

Well, me personally would rather not having members pricing cards on site...just too skewed and in many instances ....just wrong. Some members think that these are the true values and base their trade proposals on those prices...not good.
Not sure what a solution would be....But I would like to see Beckett or likewise price guides actually linked to our site for quick and accurate pricing info....I say that loosely. If it's a matter of cost, maybe a member token donation would certainly cover all the guides we would need on a monthly or annual basis. How doable is this, I don't know? Member and ADMIN comments would be interesting read.
I don't know about you, that would be invaluable to me.
Thanks, ~BOB~

I can appreicate your point of view on this and your thoughts make sense. As for me, I actually like the ability to add prices though. I think it is a great way to give an idea of pricing on cards for this site, given that this site is as good and fun as it is in large part due to the contribution of the users. Plus, I like that you can click on a price and see the history of what (and who) makes it up. I think people need to just make sure they understand how to use it and other price guides for that matter. Even Beckett is a price guide, not the actual prices. You are right that Beckett will be more refined, but a card is still only worth what someone is willing to pay and not a cent more. Regardless of what Beckett lists.
I like to use the pricing on the site to identify those cards in a set that I am hoping to pull or that are the best cards of the set. I don't for a second think that is the actual price. If I am looking to sell or trade, I would just open an eBay window and see what people are buying it at. That probably is the most accurate and those prices usually don't match what Beckett lists. I definitely do not think it would be worth dropping money in the form of a fee just to have another pricing source input into the site, which would still only represent a guide.
I just think it would be cool to know when someone updated a price on one of my cards. I wasn't sure if that existed or not.

AFter seeing what Beckett did to COMC, I personally would hate to see Beckett get involved with this site.

About 2 years ago, Comc had to totally redo their checklists. They had tied themselves into Beckett, Beckett offered to buy them, COMC declined to sell, and Beckett sued them for copyright infringement (they were using their pricing as well as the checklists). COMC members with Beckett online subscriptions could see the pricing with the COMC cards.
COMC basically lost at least a month of sales as no cards had any checklisting. They had to build the checklists from scratch, crowdsourcing the info as much as they could. They made it into a game that you could earn points doing (and subsequently, COMC credit). I still see errors, but they are pretty responsive in fixing them when reported. It took them almost 3 months before the site was functioning close to normal.
I like certain aspects of Beckett, but I would hate to see them get involved with this site.

Never knew COMC even had checklists, have never seen one from there or looked to them to find one. I learned something new, yet again. =)

Looks like it was 4/1/2014 when all heck broke loose on COMC. (The checklists are internal, more of a method of cataloguing what is on the site available for sale.) Seems like yesterday. Almost 3 years! Wow.

Keep Becket AWAY from here.... not only do they kill sites but they murdered The Card Collector software as well... nothing good can come from them... if you want prices then buy their guide..

That software was the best. I was pissed when they bought them out just to kill the competition
