I guess that means you'll have to stay off the forums until Admin puts you back in the line-up.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

It was my first scan in awhile, so since I'm inventorying my collection anyway I'll probably add the few from my cards and we'll see when I can maybe pinch hit, or just go to play defense.

Congrats Bob. I recently became a Playah It was either some community cropping I did or my Jessica Kirkland card that got me no the field.
I have another card of her that was rejected due to poor scan (low quality?) these tennis autos on SILVER sticker are diffiuclt to scan properly with an ancient scanner. I'm not sure which kind of scanner my old Epson is or if I can evern change the settings to qaulify for a quality scan.

I'll give you a tip Kirk. It may work on your scanner and it may not, depends on HOW ancient it is. Even with my year-old scanner, I've always found that cards with foil (and ESPECIALLY holofoil) will scan better if you don't line it up to the top of the scanning surface on two edges/sides. Line it up there and then move the card along the shortest width of the glass from the corner about a half-inch from the long edge. Then scan and crop. Using your card as an example, the long side of the card should be touching the short edge of the scanning area to keep it straight, but the short sides should not touch the long edge of the scanning area. Scanners tend to over-expose or under-expose that edge to make paper scans look right. That messes up how foil appears when scanned. Try that and LMK if it helps you.

I'm not even on the roster yet then! 0 cards scanned as my old-a$$ laptop I use isn't good enough to support a scanner! Don't see that changing any time soon either! š
