Apologies to anyone who believes I'd taken too much space away from a good discussion on another thread about how one stores and displays their collection.
I'm somewhat tech savvy, but apparently cannot simply copy and paste a picture file from either my phone (Android) or my computer (Windows-based).
The usual screens come up and they either ask me to manually do the Control-V, which I do all the time with the Control-C on other programs, but nothing happens. I've tried sharing with no luck, so I'm at wits end, but didn't want to continue posting on that other thread.
If anyone can either give me step-by-step instructions, or maybe I think I've got a settings issue with either Chrome or Windows 10 Pro, I'd be very appreciative.
All I'm trying to do is to participate in the discussions!

Will it work if the picture is stored in Google Drive, or does it have to be on social media or a blog?

Some other member gave me this link, and it works awesome. Free and easy is good for a Ukranian guy. =)

That's odd. When I shared my collection pictures, I stored them on my phone and then copied and pasted them on the site.

I have a separate Facebook account for just TCDB image use.
from the FAQ:
If the image is already posted on a website (like this one, Facebook, etc.), you should be able to copy/paste it into the body of a forum post or right-click on the image, select "Properties", and copy the URL of the image. Then select the "Image" tool icon when composing a forum post and paste the URL into the appropriate box.
If the file is on your computer, you'll need to put it online (your own website, social media, image hosting site, blog, etc.) so that it has a publicly viewable URL and follow the steps above to put it into a forum post.
There are also websites like www.pasteboard.co that allow you to upload a file from your computer and will provide you with a URL that you can then use the "Image" tool icon to put into the body of a forum post as described above.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Thanks everyone for the help. I've been putting off blogging, but will now have to just to get pics on the site.
