I'm not seeing how there is even a debate here, if you don't want to see them than have the filter block them out, if you don't want to see them than aloow them. They are trading cards and therefor should be allowed on the site. Getting into censorship is not something that we want to do.

I don't think anyone was ever talking about censorship.
I think what we're honestly and earnestly discussing here is the need/desire for adult content to be displayed (or not) on the home page. (If we're not discussing just this, then please let me know.)

Wouldn't it be enough to just post a disclaimer on the front page. Here (just change the wording a bit to focus on cards instead of comics) is what is on the front page (all be it way on the bottom) of the Grand Comics Database (www.comics.org) which they have decided to not censor anything.
The Grand Comics Database Project (GCD) [TCB] is a volunteer project with the goal of documenting and indexing all comics [cards] for the use of scholars, historians, researchers, and fans.
The GCD [TCB] acknowledges that the all-encompassing of the project may result in the posting of cover scans for comics [cards] with images that some may find objectionable.
Viewer discretion is advised.

The more I'm reading, and knowing how these images are blocked by default, I am in agreement with CAD, Turn it off if you don't like them showing up. And from I remember, anyone who has access to these images had to specifically click on something that warned of the content you were requesting to see.

All fair points. I will simply disable the content. Just seems to me that there is a distinction between mature content one is intentionally looking for and mature content that shows up unannounced.
Just because I someone subscribes to HBO (oh who am I kidding, I steal Game of Thrones just like 75% of the rest of the world) I they wouldn't expect to see nudity or pornographic content during a commercial break in the Nightly News with Lester Holt.

If you click Browse>Non Sports>Sets, and go to 1992 and click Pinup, you will see Miss America and Hustler grouped together. I could see where a person might want to turn on one but not the other. That isn't censorship. It's still an option for everyone to see if they want to. Considering all the categories in the various sports, maybe Pinup is a little too vague for the wide range of sets it covers, considering the site's capabilities. More of an accuracy issue than a censorship issue.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
