(I swear I just posted this, but perhaps my backup daughter distracted me at just the wrong time and I failed to execute. Trying again...)

Ok, so I've been cropping cards when I'm bored, because it's mindless, relatively easy, and kind of useful to the site. But I keep encountering cards that, quite frankly, look perfectly cropped, even though they are labelled as "not cropped." Are these cards that the submitter just didn't crop upon submission, so they're marked as "not cropped," even if they're fine? Or were they not reviewed by the submitted, perhaps because he or she didn't have the required permission? In short, do I need to go through the (somewhat farcical) motions of actually cropping the card, or can I just use the drop down box and click, "reviewed?"

My last few scans, albeit few and far between, have not seemed to require additional cropping or approval. 

Help? (I frequently feel like the more I try to help around here, the more I just get underfoot....)

I believe that you are right. The scans are fine but the member has not earned direct posting abilities yet so they go in the queue.

All images, by default, are "Not Cropped". If a card doesn't need cropping then just mark it "Reviewed"; as long as there are no problems with the image.  I've noticed the one problem most overlooked recently is size.  Minimum size requirement is 250 x 350. Both have to be met.
