Well it might not be perfect, but this is the best card collecting forum site that I've seen out there.

I'm looking forward to the 2018 Topps factory set coming out this summer. Well, those incomplete statistics on the back are really a bummer actually. However, I just noticed today about the factory set release announcement. For a second, I thought that they were going to release the thing earlier or something, but July 4th seems to be the official date for now.

Since I'm not much of a pack buyer anymore, I won't see much of 2018 Topps until the summer. Well, my set binders always have an empty pack from every series included, so between now and the factory set release, I'll probably purchase a pack from each series to include with the set binder. 2018 Topps that is.

I have fun putting together vintage sets, but for 2018 Topps, I'll probably just buy the brick and call it a day.

If I get any extra 2018 Topps cards, they'll probably go to my nephew, like I do with everything else that came out since he was born. For older cards, I put them all for sale online under the title "pick lots". Of course, I'll have to replenish my inventory. I'll bet on completing 2018 Topps set before then. The only 1947 set I know about is the Tip-Top set, which is very rare. I only have the reprint set for that--well worth it though.
