I have been working on the name validation section lately. I came across the above card with no names listed. I collect only Reds so I am unfamiliar with these players. I believe Brett Saberhagen is on the right, but I can find no help with the player on the left. Can anyone help so I can update the checklist? Thanks

That's Mark Davis. And Saberhagen is right. These were the two 1989 Cy Young winners, and they ended up teammates in 1990. ------------------------------- I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Oh, Royals, signing a Cy Young winner after his only good season, for millions, only to see him flop horribly and be out of baseball completely in a couple years.
