Looks like a special version given directly to the player (hence the "PLAYER ISSUE" along the bottom). The versions intended for release to the market have serial numbers and a Topps certification statement where the "Player Issue" text is. Best guess is the company printed up some of these (no idea how many) for the player to give to his family and friends. To me, it's probably along the lines of a promo card. I would assume that Topps did this for all of the rookies signing that set of cards, but that's just an assumption. Cool find, but I'm not sure exactly how to list it.
