Card Identification Forum

Hi all,

I just bought a series of 180 cards of automobile card, and the post on ebay say that this series was issued in Peru. 

After talking to the seller he told me that this series was issued in 2007. but i can't find any documentation for that series to conferme the release date 

Would anyone know more about that series or would know where i could search ?

The set shoudl be call "Grand Prix"

and looks like it was made by Dist. Americana S.A.  but with that info all my search came back empty.

and i dont want to create a record in the database if i'm 100% sure of the year :(

The picture on the card you posted looks like this picture from the 2006 announcement of Acura's plans to compete in the 2007 American LeMans Series:

I would say that the 2007 date is prety accurate.  

If you want further confirmation, find cards in the set of teams that ran in the series before and after 2007 and compare the sponsorships from 2006, 2007 and 2008 to the pictures on the cards, just keep in mind that an early 2007 set would use photography from the 2006 season.
