The 1980-81 Fleer Basketball Stickers are giving me fits. We don't have a lot of collectors that have these, so anything info is slim.
I have a lengthy 3 page IR to submit on the cartoon and puzzle backs, but in putting together the SS, I noticed an additional issue .... many cards have a solid look, but many also have a striped look. Very noticeable

No, it's just a different look.... not raised or textured or sticky... both backs feel the same but look different with the stripes, strangest thing!

On so many different stickers? I'll examine closer. They are pretty uniform diagonal stripes.

It does look like some sort of chemical staining. Images are too small to really tell.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I don't know, these are different, seems more like, can't explain. Too uniform for stains or burning. I'm still looking at VARs?

The adhesive stains/burning WOULD be uniform.
