Card Identification Forum

I have a small stack of non-sport promo cards that I haven;t been able to find in the database.  Frankly, some I don't know if they even belong in the database, so I figured I'd post an inquiry here prior to trying to add them.

They include:

- 1994 Fleer Marvel Overpower game (x3)

- 1995 MTG (x2)

- 1996 X-Files Game

- 1996 Topps Killer Instinct Game

- 1993 Beavis & Butthead (clear background)

- 1994 Inside Image Hellshock #1

- 1996 Cyberforce "A Cyberforce Summer" #P3

... and a few other random cards.

I'd welcome any review/assistance/guidance regarding these being added to the DB.

Did you look in gaming for them as well?

Honestly, no.  I was "just now" years old when I learned there was a section for gaming cards. 

That might help with a couple of them.

I was able to find 4 of the 7 gaming cards. Still need to track down the other 3... and the others that aren't gaming cards. 
 

It's funny, I actually found that same card ( 1996 Cyberforce "A Cyberforce Summer" #P3 ) in a box I'm currently sorting and likewise having problems locating it in the database.  The character in the photo is Cyblade but I'm not finding any links to this card when I search that name.  There are 3 cards from that set that form a single picture:

The Beavis & Butt-head one is an acetate promo card that was distributed in a 1993 Wizard magazine, but I don't know if that was part of a larger set or just the one card

IMO the promo cards should be listed with the set that they are a promotion for. Usually but not always fairly easy to find out. Then they should be listed under the inserts and related sets section as promo. However I seem to recall that some promo cards I have were at one time properly in the database but I think after some update are no longer there. I forget which ones they were. I think they are some of the Warehouse 13 promo cards I have.
