I'll admit that my picture of the front isn't great. Pulled this one today, SN'd to 99. Can't find anything similar in my internet searches, and I've seen pictures of the base of this card without any SN at all. Any ideas?

The below is from BCP so the set listing may need to be updated.
Plating Die-Cuts
Each Plating Die-Cut is serial-numbered to 99 copies and also available in the following parallels.

The cardboard connection link shows the O'Neil Cruz without SN. I assumed that was an example of the base, unless SN stamping came later or it was photoshopped for the announcement.
But, I defer to the experts who known the industry and are better at deeper research than me.

For learning purposes, what's BCP? I want to be more like you all and not just hit the forums at the first snag.

The images shown on CardboardConnection (CBC) are mock-ups and not actual card scans. Even though this is the image used in the card, it would not display a serial number for advertising purposes. Therefore, the base should be SN99. I will update the set.

BaseballCardPedia. Go to the set's page and under External Links you'll find the link to that listing.
FWIW Beckett doesnt list a SN either. Could be Topps didn't announce this set was SN and went ahead and did it

Yep. You got me there. Figured Topps would list SNs when they release a checklist on their own site, but nope.
