Something fishy about yours.  Compare the fonts used. Your CAMEO CIGARETTES is thicker/heavier. DARLINGTON & Co. and THE VIRGINIAN TOBACCO Co. fonts don't match. Could be the scan/photo; but the cardstocks look different.

You're right The writing type doesn't match at all, though it should be on the right track

which can either mean a different series or back variants

That's not a dash (-) it's the period (.) of comc.com. I went through all the ones on comc and none matched your fonts.

Appears to be varying fonts on card backs as mentioned, indicating additional types/variations as seen with other sets. I observe at least two, possibly three depending on font weight from the attached image [1], but none with the same font as the original post.
