Is this part of a set?

Not exactly, they were randomly inserted in packs of '99 Upperdeck HoloGrfx. No players, or teams, just the characters needed to spell-out: NFL GameDay 2000. Collect the phrase, mail 'em in and you were entered in a drawing to win the game. 

If it were a vote...I would not put them in.

But they were part of a contest/packaging. And I understand trying to be as accurate and comprehensive as possible 

Set is added. If anyone doesn't like the naming convention, feel free to change it to whatever works. I liked the way I did it, but it won't bother me if it should be different. :)

Something like that I consider insert promo materials, contest/game instructions. The type of thing that used to be ads on the wrappers or part of the materials inserted with sell sheets. The type of inserts that most collectors will just toss away. I hope that now-days they at least put them into recycling.

Thanks...I'll add it so I feel I've done my duty and then toss it in the recycling with my Diamond Ink points.

Our options for type of "Inserts and Related sets" are:

• Insert
• Mail-in
• Parallel
• Promo
• Proof

I know a few of the types it is NOT (Mail-in, Parallel, Proof). So that leaves insert or promo. Promos are usually reserved for cards that are given away, usually to advertise for an upcoming set or a product that is already available. Where do we put these cards? If they were in a pack, was it considered to be a "card" in the count? In any case, they were still inserted into packs of this product, and we have documented other such items in other products.
