This card was included in the 1989 Topps Kmart Memorable Moments set

This looked familiar as it is one of the few baseball cards I have.

I have it listed as here.

However, I do see the image linked there has "B 89 A" on the bottom right and yours has "B 89 D".

So, not sure if it is the same card or if there are multiple similar ones.

I think those codes might indicate which product it was in. Would like to have someone else independantly verify that.

But since I only bought one of each set; can't confirm those card numbers were exclusive to those sets.

Also, I'll pull my sets (if I can find them) and verify the codes.

When these came up before, I suggested we use those numbers as card number. Unless, any code could be found in any set. If true, we have the capability to have one listing and link all sets; creating VARs for each card (code) number.

That would be a great move, if there is the possibility of pulling more than one type from each product (i.e., B89H comes out of 2 different sets,m and also found in those sets was B89G and B89F, then your idea is perfect).

Basically what I did for the late-80s Fleer stickers that were included in multiple box sets. Two of the sets above are locked, so if we can put together most of a list and figure out which set would make the most sense to host it, we can cross-link from all the others.

But only do this if the prmise is true. We don't know that yet.

Right, I'm not touching any of this yet.
