I cannot find any evidence ANYWHERE that this set exists. It should probably be removed.

The Upper Deck website lists a 300-card parallel for series 1. But when I clicked on the link there was no checklist.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Thanks for your help. I actually have some of the cards, which is why I asked. My Phillies cards are numbered into the 400's and I have many from other teams, which I just stuck with the regular 2008s.
Thanks Again for trying.

What is the difference between the parallel set and the regular set? (Can you e-mail me scans? My id here at gmail, please.)

Is this the numbering your're speaking of? If so, look at the backs of the cards - should say 2008 Upper Deck First Edition near the bottom. No foil on the front. Still not a 300-card set.

The only parallel set that I know of is the Gld parallel which is SN99. The only card image added to it on this site is a card I have, #28. The SN is on the front, quite small.

The First Edition set goes to 500 and is not a parallel as the player cards are not the same number in all cases, e.g. Johnny Damon is # 250 in First Edition but #299 in the Regular issue
