Not sure about baseball but the NBA release had holofoil for hobby and silver, nonfoil (almost gray) printing for retail.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards.

This is one of those confusing sets. There's a base set listed, then an insert set (should be parallel?) called "Retail Gold", and two parallel sets: "Gold" and "Retail". I'm not sure where to put my cards that have a multi-color foil lettering. ------------------------------- "The world is made for people who aren't cursed with self-awareness".

This might help with the confusion of this frustrating product. The version we call Retail Gold would be the Gold Medallion parallel. They were inserted into retail and hobby packs. The gold parallel on the database is SN999. I noticed someone has a few cards in the retail gold set as SN999. Maybe we could rename the Gold SN999 set as Fat Packs Gold as they were only inserted into fat packs.
