I have the following cards -
161 Lem Barney Lions (pictured)
162 Al Davis Raiders
163 John Mackey Colts
164 John Riggins Redskins
Same numbering as the 1995 update set, but different photos and 1992 copyright dates on back. Are these promos? Should I add the 4 cards as a promo? I have emailed admin but no answer as of yet.

Those are all the 1992 inductees. ENOR updated every year with the new inductees.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

C2...yes, I know that. I have a full collection of these cards in a factory binder (2 complete sets actually). But if you read the post, these 4 cards are the same numbering and players as the 1995 update set EXCEPT they have different photos and a 1992 copyright date on the back...so does that make them promos? THAT was my question.

That's what probably got him inducted into the HOF, no?

I just bumped an earlier forum question about this set. Maybe useful info, maybe not. It looks like they print one version of the card early, than do a different version if the player actually gets elected??

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

No, the 1992 promos are numbered 1, 2, 3, 4. These look like the 1992 updates. In 1995 they reprinted them all 1992-1995 (#161-180) with a new copyright date.

I have these cards that came with the 1991 factory set back in the day. Were they available any other way back then. If they are, in fact, 1992 updates, they aren't in the DB. Wouldn't it make more sense to make them a part of the 1991 set?
