To quote U2 from "New Year's Day", to my wife, "I want to be with you, be with you, night and day.", especially since we've been apart since October due to her handling a family matter in New Jersey. Got to see her until yesterday when I flew back home. This is our first new year apart since before marriage in 1980.
I hope the rest of 2018 bodes well for us, though.

well, wishing everyone well and good fortune this year! as for the wifey and I, we spent the last two days packing getting ready for our move at the end of the month.. so come late evening we were so exhausted the fireworks woke us up- we both turned to each and said.. "Oh, must be New Years.. happy new year honey" then gave each other a peck on the cheek and rolled back over and slept.... so much for adulthood

That’s a great song to bring in the new year, haha.

Now the new year is about 13 hours old, and I have the urge to do something terrible, that I haven't done in months. I want to eat at McDonald's!

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
