Reminds me of spring.....which is pretty exciting in Minnnesota.
Yeah, April 28th (right after winter)-May 11th (right before summer) is a such a beautiful time in Minnesota.

I don't follow college sports, but definitely happy that MLB is starting shortly. One of the benefits of living in Phoenix is enjoying Spring Training and having the ability to see a bunch of different teams at a bunch of different stadiums that are all within the metro area.
Probably won't get to go to many games this year, but I plan on taking my 10 month old boy to his first baseball game in March. Since that may be the only game I get to, we'll probably just go see the Diamondbacks.

When I was in college, we lived literally across the street from the ballfield. I went every chance I got. Unfortunately, I was working full-time along with my full-time classload and I usually had to go to work before the game ended. It seems like a lot of games got snowed out, too. Now my alma mater has dropped baseball in favor of volleyball anyway. I wouldn't say that I follow college baseball, but I do catch some games on TV now and then.

In glad Hannibal got another team, but I really wish they had kept the name Cavemen. I live 40 miles from Danville, and 20 from Terre Haute, so I spend a lot of summer nights at Prospect League games (I'm a Dans fan even though Rex are closer). I've seen the Cavemen a bunch of times, and now I guess I'll be seeing the Hooters. I hope their uniform is a white shirt with an owl, and orange pants.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Count the Illini among the teams who didn't get to play today. Their plane couldn't even take off, due to fog.

Coppin’s game was postponed for today and tomorrow, a doubleheader on Saturday instead. Maryland is beating Tennessee 4-0 Thanks to 2 Nick Dunn solo homers. Michigan beat Army 12-3.

I couldn't find a single game on tv, which surprised me. I did see the very end of Duke vs Denver lacrosse though. Spring is coming!

I used to go to Old Dominion games when Verlander was pitching there. I try to follow UVA, but it becomes difficult living so far out of state.
