My wife and I always have hot dogs for Opening Day. I am hoping the Diamondbacks can make the postseason again this year and hopefully even make it to the World Series. Pitching staff looks awesome once again and we are in win-now mode for as long as we still have Goldschmidt. Losing JD Martinez kind of stings, but we were still in playoff position before we traded for him last year.
I really hope Goldy doesn't end up leaving when he is a free agent, but for some reason I just keep picturing him signing with the Rangers when he becomes available.

Sorry for promoting another app here, but this app called FireFan is cool and I’m giving away cards for the winner in my league. Here’s how to win:
1. Click the link and download the app. https://play.firefan.com/a566ab
2. Join Ian’s Live Chat League.
3. Join the Twins-Orioles game.
4. Make pregame picks and live picks to win.
Again, sorry to promote, but nobody has joined my game yet, haha.

Yes the Nats need to do something big.
Right now they are like the Capitals are in Hockey. In their 40some years history (44) the Caps have been in the playoffs 30 some times, but rarely get past the first round. They made the dance one time but lost.

Last 3 season’s we made the 2nd round, then lost, twice to the Pens. Unfortunately, I see it happening again.

Tiger fan here. Not high on expectations for this season, but hey, we came in tied with the best record in the league! Rain out today, should be dry and cool for Fridays opener. When I worked at the shop (from 1977- 1988) would always take the day off, grill brats and dogs, and invite the guys I worked with over for a lunch with beer. Those days are gone and I am out on the mail route during the day, hoping to hear nothing, then come home and watch the game on dvr. (Nice to see Verlander continuing to roll, he should still be pitching for us).
