Thought I replied to this about an hour after the game. Oh well anyway Glad the Caps Won. So many playoff monkeys have been tossed off our backs.

That was a great game last night. I actually watched it totally...normally I listen to sports and look up when I hear something going on...but this one I watched flag to flag. I have to admit I was rooting for the Capitols. Two of my best friends who are hockey fans are Lightning fans and I feel bad for them...one was at the game last night...but the fact that no matter who wins there will be a first time champion, I love it.

I didn't like the hit on Orpik. I know it was technically ok but it felt wrong to me. I expected Tom Wilson to pummel Pacquette but it never happened. I guess denying him the chance to get his name on the Stanley Cup will have to suffice.
