So in 2004 I decided to purchase a bunch of Topps' Presidential Pastime and worked on that as a way to collect a card of all 42 cards in that set, and get one of each POTUS going forward.  Managed to get a bunch of them before stepping away from the hobby in the early 2010s.

So, I'm tossing them into a list here tonight (President Joe Biden's Inaugration Day for future references) to honor my old physical goal.  Then I thought "why don't I add all the VPs as well"  

Welp, so far I'm searching through the first 13 of them, and unless they became Presidents eventually, or iconic for other reasons, these guys (assuming current VP Kamala Harris will be easy to find...at least within a few months anyway) are hard to find!  

So far, 3 aren't on here at all, one is a missing image cut auto with someone he ran with prior to his term as VP, and the other in a high number in a recent historic persons card set from a card company that I don't recognize.

Oh well!  I guess this makes the position live up to its reputation of not being all that "important" in the grand scheme of making marks on history. =;)

Okay, this might be telling

Hubert Humphrey, LBJ's VP has 17 cards listed on here in Non-Sport.  Mostly multi-person cards from sets reflecting campaign season matchups, both primaries and the actual general elections.

The domed stadium in Minneapolis that bore his name as the home of the Twins and Vikings?

15 cards listed in baseball.

But oddly none, that I can tell (no seperate PID made for it, or linked to the one in baseball anyway) for football, and it was the home for a Super Bowl once!

But anyway, telling sign, in terms of limelight noterity that you'd get trading cards with your likeness on them, when the building that was named in your honor has nearly as much product as you do!

Ok, confused. What are you looking for? One card for every President and VP or something else.

I gave up searching after like 10 of the first 20 or so have no images listed here, and a couple are represented solely by turn of the century tobacco cards! 🤷🏻‍♂️

The Hubert Humphrey bit was just comparing card totals listed here for the man himself, and the stadium that bore his name.

There is a Topps Now card showing Kamala Harris but it's not hers solely, it's shared with President Biden. I saw it on one of the blogs yesterday. 

That's a tough project and would be impossible for me because I don't count shared cards to either person...I track how many shared cards I have. In fact, I even break down the count by how many people share the card.

Yeah, right now if I wanted to add her, it looks like there is a card from early in the year when she was running in the primaries.  I think there is also a Topps Decision 2016 card from when she was running for the Senate as well 

In the sprit of the set that "inspired" the project, I'm using the Topps Now card of a beaming, but I'd imagine dying a little inside, Obama next to to Cubs' World Championship trophy (Obama is a life long White Sox fan).  

There is nothing that I'd feel like using of Trump's baseball White House ceremony cards here, and while I'll probably finish the text I want up to write for each card and close the set soon, I'll probably swap out my Biden card for when the Dodgers get to visit the White House.

Allen and Ginter never did VPs, huh?  They have a whole set of First Ladies and a set of "Portraits in Penultimacy" (famous seconds), but not VPs.... Interesting.   Contact Topps and make it happen!
