Watch for the future Baseball Enforcers subset insert and its two dozen parallels Topps will be adding next year. More seriously, fights used to be accepted as part of a hockey game. ITG had released some hockey enforcers series, but Topps (before/after the UD exclusive license) never had anything explicitly dedicated to goons. I would have been really surprised if they released a baseball card showing a real fist fight.

Tic Tok is a clock. Or, in some cases might be referring to the excellent Mario Kart track "Tic Tok Clock."

How can silly banter about a silly card still not coalesce into the the actual cards of the Nolan Ryan vs. Robin Ventura fight on the field from 1990 (or '91)?! I know there are several cards showing pictures about that fight. One of which was in a Pacific Ryan Express set showing Ryan with a bloody nose. That was an epic story at the time. Nolan still finished pitching the inning and I think he pitched another one after that. I don't recall all the details now since it was 30 years ago. I also will not hunt down the links for cards right now since it is 4:30am EST. It's time for me to go to bed.

As the pacific card it was not a fight it was a comebacker that hit Nolan in the lip and split it open 

Nolan has the bloody lip and jersey while Curt Schilling has the bloody sock

Bo Jackson hit him with a comebacker. Ventura didn't even make a scratch.

Same for that one stage in Mario 64 that I still don't like, Tick Tock Clock.

It was actually in the third inning, with one out. The White Sox replaced Ventura with Craig Grebeck, who got picked off first. 

Ryan didn't allow another hit the rest of the way, only allowing a walk to Joey Cora.

He was pulled to start the 8th after only 85 pitches -- the Rangers scored five in the 6th to give him a 5-2 lead. They brought in Craig Lefferts (who ended up with an ERA higher than 6 that year) as the setup guy but he gave up a hit with two outs (to Cora), and the White Sox brought in Bo Jackson as a pinch-hitter. Texas countered by bringing in their closer (Tom Henke), who struck out Bo and ended up with a four-out save. 

That stretch of the game after the Ventura brawl was probably the best he pitched in his last season.

Funny bit: Frank Thomas didn't play in this game (despite being in the middle of his first MVP season, he was 0-12 with 11Ks against Ryan at the time, which ended up being his career line against him).

You are right Wayne (of course). Like I said, it was 30 years ago, I was 12 and I don't collect anything of the teams or players involved. So I mixed the 2 incidents up.

I did get to see that bloody sock in-person as it was on display in the HOF when I was there in 2005.
