Rocky Horror never gets old. I could listen to that every day.

All New York Yankees cards are welcome to join my collection. I'm also interested in recreating my main childhood collection, which consisted of mostly 1974 and 1978-1982.

If I were to list artists, I like Merle, Waylon, Willie, Marty Robbins, Faron Young, Alabama, Toby Keith, Johnny Cash, and both Hanks, and away from country, The Beatles, Kiss, Aerosmith, and Stryper come to mind. I've honestly never heard of about 2/3 of the bands you guys have mentioned.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

I will listen to pretty much any kind of music based on my mood.
There is no genres that I don't care for.

80's hair bands. Crue, Leppard, Dokken, Great White, Cinderella, etc. I'm sad no one mentioned VH. I prefer Hagar more than Roth tho. And Eddie--flat out the best IMO.

Seeing I had debated starting this thread myself so many times over...
When I'm going to a show or just need the mood I tend to turn to 5 albums: 1) Queensryche Operation Mindcrime, 2) Iced Earth The Dark Saga, 3) Metal Church Human Factor 4) Liege Lord Master Control or 5) Mercyful Fate Don't Break the Oath
So yeah, metal. And to add to that list are the bands Amon Amarth, Soilwork, Dark Tranquillity, Anthrax, Charon/Sentenced, Death Angel, Testament and yes, some hair metal (looking at you Skid Row) was well. Of course, there's more, but...
I can listen to about any genre really, but I am so very happy that my son left the Disney ages a long time ago.....

Tired and trembling I am descending, will I have to stay here and live this life again?

I like really anything that is made before 1990. I of course have some favorites from recent times like Imagine Dragons, but some of the new stuff is just so bad. I also can't stand music from the late 90's and early 2000's, again give or take a few songs. One band I just can't listen to without getting upset is Guns N Rose's. I just don't like any of their music, and I honestly don't know why. My favorite song of all time though, Africa.

As a kid I like metal and just metal but I'm all over the place now. Almost everything that fits under the braod label of "rock" although I just can't warm up to Ratt, Loverboy, and Kiss. Kiss is the one that I get the most crap about.
Old country makes me nostalgic. My dad had old country on in the garage all of the time.We turned his radio on about 10 years after he passed and it was still tuned to the same station playing the same playlist it had in the 80s.
I haven't given myself permission to like classical music but on occaisions where a symphony will play a classic rock song to draw people in, I kind of like it.
I did listen to New Wave back when MTV was young and it was ok, but it was always like a snack and not a meal.
Bands/Performers: Led Zeppelin. Tool, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and then Bruce Springsteen, Pink Floyd, Butthole Surfers, Head Like a Hole, Primus, Green Day, Gov't Mule, Trampled By Turtles, and on and on. Also, yes, I really do like U2 and not just because I think everyone else does. DMB. Rage Against the Machine, Dropkick Murphys.
I was walking down the hallway of the hospital after visiting a relative. I was wearing a Dropkick Murphys shirt and this guy with a blue mohawk wearing scrubs is walking towards me and says "cool shirt!" and I was thinking to myself "yeah, should have known he is one of mine."
Nickleback is meh.
