OK, I've given everyone as much time as possible to conclude their adventures. Fifty-four brave souls headed out on Monday, but there were only three left standing at the end of Chapter 5:
crh614, PAHSports & PBobo44
They've each earned just over ten percent of the prize pool - congratulations to all.
Tomorrow, I will post my strategy for how I plan to award the 54 prize packages, but for now, here's the epic conclusion of your adventures at the 14th NSCC. I hope you had some fun along the way.
If you choose to remain station-ary, turn to page 87.
If you choose to explore some more, turn to page 312.
Page 87:
There certainly is a lot of beautiful stonework here – arches, columns, staircases & floors. After a quick tour of the main building, I bought dinner and picked a nice spot on one of the long wooden benches to await my ride home.
While busting open some packs, I heard a baby being fussy. Normally I would be annoyed but I was too focused on seeing and sorting what I had bought. A few minutes later, a woman screamed. As I turned to look towards the stairs, I saw a baby carriage rolling down on its own. There was a man in a trench coat at the top of the stairs just watching it bounce away – he probably pushed it.
While tossing one pack of cards back into my bag, still clutching an opened one in my other hand, I ran towards the base of the stairs and slid across the polished stone floor. Stopping the carriage from crashing just in the nick of time, I said with quiet confidence, “Yeah, I got him.”
(RIGHT) You are “untouchable” – congratulations you have completed the adventure!

I locked up my belongings then headed out through the nearest exit. There wasn’t enough time for touring one of the many museums, so I just looked for a restaurant with some forking-good pizza. As I randomly walked along the streets, I discovered an ice rink amidst the urban sprawl. It was quite a strange sight to behold, especially since it was the middle of summer.
Though my legs were tired, I had been doing some inline skating recently, so I felt confident in my ability to remain upright on the ice. After enjoying an hour of circling the pond, I returned my rented skates. Well-fed and exercised, I strolled back to the station looking forward to taking a long nap on the short ride home.
(WRONG) True story, but this happened while travelling home on a winter break a few years prior – your adventure is over.
