I sure would love to find complete 57 and 58 sets while cleaning my house!  And those contest cards are going for over $100 each, but then again it wouldnt have been nearly as interesting a story.

yeh, but thats still pretty cool.. especially after all that time. the only luck i've ever had with something like was- i bought a cheap pack of UD football cards at walmart for .50cents and it had a contest to enter to win a prize..never read what it was or anthing but filled it out and sent it in. about 8 months later i got an autographed football of Dan Marino from UD.. took me a few days to figure out where it come from then i called to verfiy. that was about 15yrs ago and no luck since then!

I won a glove from the game (where you could collect runs) in the packs of the 1983 Topps baseball cards. Still have it, in fact, my son was using it for little league when he first started (then we got him a new, better glove).
