Dimitri Kvartalnov, subject of the current Random Card of the Day comment thing?

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Bump. Well, I might as well turn my Bump into a guess. Rosey LaRose.

Nope. Since it seems this one is quite difficult, I'll give one of the answers, leaving you guys to come up with 1 of 2 remaining. The old timer from the list was Wayne Hicks. He played from 1960 to 1968 and was from Aberdeen, Washington. The other 2 have both played in the current century, with one retiring in 2001 and the other in 2004, and the two more recent ones are also both from east of the Cascade Mountains, so Central/Eastern Washington.

That is correct! David Wilkie is from Ellensburg, WA, which aside from being the home of Central Washington U. has no other claims to fame. And Ty Jones was born a whole 4 miles from my house in Richland, WA (I actually live in West Richland) (and that's assuming he was born in the hospital, of which Richland only has 1), however, sometime before he was in high school his family had moved to Alaska.

I will also do one of a player that grew up near my hometown in Southeast Michigan. This active baseball player played againstmy high school during my high school years.
During my high school career, I was the best player in the state and led my school to a state championship. After I graduated from HS, I literally walked to my collegiate baseball games. I was drafted by the Detroit Tigers and then by the Cleveland Indians. I've played for four different MLB teams. Who Am I?
