I seriously hope Crosby retires after this year, too many concussion like Lindros.

Not a Pens fan based on annoying in-laws being from Pittsburgh and rubbing titles in my face and reminding me how many titles Buffalo has.  Also, because I have to spend time with Pittsburgh fans, I have too much exposure to whiny Pittsburgh fans who think that every play that doesn't involve a Steeler TD or Penguins goal should result in a penalty and is just another example of how the world is against them.  I know this will be insulting to Pittsburgh fans on the site, so I will apologize as I know all Pittsburgh fans are not this way, but it just irks me.  Pitt v. Nashville would be a better final, but I have to root for Pitt to lose to Ottawa.  If not, then go Preds!!

I live in south Jersey and you can replace most of the words Pittsburgh and Penguins and Steelers with Philadelphia and the Flyers and the Eagles and the same is true......except for the rubbing titles part.   That is why they are known as the Cryers

Crosby has been a whiner since day 1, I'm so tired of the Pens in general, would love Ottawa/Nashville, I'm conflicted as a Habs fan, I hate the Sens and really want PK to win, but I also feel obliged to want the cup back in Canada. The best part is that if Ottawa is in it, Bettman won't be happy, and anything that makes Bettman unhappy usually makes me happy

Yes!!  I am on board with that.  Anything to tick Bettman off is a postive!

I'm hoping to see Nashville vs. Ottawa if for no other reason then neither team has won the Cup before. I think it would be great to see a first time champion in my first year with the sport.

Ottawa also has my favorite logo in all of sports. The Roman theme sold it for me.

yea   Bettman  Does he not look like a used car salesman?  Would see NHL with and unbalanced league instead of awarding a franchise to Quebec City.  Gary you running out of people who are willing to lay down big money for a team.  A face it Hockey in Arizona is a niche product.

The treats of cities losing the franchise (it not the fans, it the guy writing the checks team) if you don't improve on the Arena. He is proving it with Arizona, as long as gov't officials gave team money, they can have a team.  Islanders were almost told by Barcley Center  can you leave, now? Every game you play here, we loose money. It cost more to hold a game here then it makes. 

Here is a business idea. Teams hire people to talk contract for them, why don't cities hire someone. Like an agent. But a flat salary. Go from city to city talking to teams over lease conditions. The time is right for baseball. Those NEW stadiums built 20 years ago need to be replaced. e.i Atlanta. Opened in 1996 for olympics and they done now Braves and Falcons have a new place. Who is next, the cycle will start.

I too am sick and tired of the flightless birds, they are even brainwashing my Oiler loving son!! Sacrelidge!! Comes home talking about some girl in a Malkin jersey UGH!! Can someone explain to me what Montreal did to PK? I picked up on some sort of shadyness with the deal but it was before the sport took root in my conciousness so I didn't pay total attention. He's turning out to be one of my favorite players. Have a couple cards of his waiting to be shipped at COMC as well.

Will probably never know exactly but the theme I got was he was "disrespectful" to his upperlings. Rumor has it they felt it would be better to cut and run. But sometimes you just need to take the bad in stride when the upside is SO high. IMO of course.
