Hello all! I just wanted to say hi on my first day on a new forum. My old trading forum went a little dry and while searching for new ones I came across this one.
This looks like it can be fun and some good discussions had! I can't wait to get into some!
I currently live in CT, but am a Twins fan from being born there. I collect PSA graded vintage (1952-1969) Topps base sets, Topps Chrome sets (right now working on 2015), Miguel Sano Autos/GU/#'d/RCs, Twins RCs/Autos/#d cards.
I look forward to getting to know everyone on here and getting some trades done!

Welcome to the site and to the forums. There are a lot of interesting posts on here and it is a great place to ask about any mystery cards you need identified.

Welcome! I think you will find this place more than lives up to any expectations you may have. I hear there is a big show in Connecticut somewhere, but nobody has been forthcoming with that info yet, maybe you know about it? (People I asked may not have even seen my question) I'm just over the border in NY (Dutchess County) and one of my local shops is in CT. If you have any questions please feel free to ask, somebody will come along and try and solve it usually within a matter of minutes.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. I wish I knew about that card show. I am always looking for something around me, but never find anything. I need to drive in to RI for a LCS. I am on the east side of the state so that is closer than going into Hartford or New Britain. If you find out about the show please let me know!

So CT seems to be a hot bed on this site. I joined the site at the turn of the year as I a) came back into the hobby and b) moved to CT myself. I'm just outside of Hartford (east side) myself. Since I've been here I've been lokking for larger shows in the CT/MA/NY area but all I've found is smaller shows (~40 tables). One good LCS that actually about sports cards first and not comics and such. This site is great and I look to be ore involved as I get settled into the area and moves are finally done.

The shows around here are smaller - not what they used to be. NY is the only spot to find any bigger shows. I live just north of Hartford as well. The best shop I could find locally is Omni. Not really a big selection, but a bit more so than any others I've found.
