Nice job. You are correct on the year and next up.
I was at the game Lefty passed The Big Train. I still have my ticket stubs and I'm sure I have the posters they handed out. I thought Lefty was first as well, but this Topps card states that Nolan Ryan was first.
I'm surprised we're both incorrect about that. Might have to look that one up. In any case, you're up next to ask.

It's still crazy that a career record that stood for over 70 years was broken by 3 people in one season.

Okay, go with me a little on this one.
Before Barry Bonds came along, the top 3 Home Run hitters in history were Hank Aaron, Babe Ruth, and Willie Mays. What unusual coincidence did the careers of the three of them share? It is not a statistic but rather thing they did in regards to the arc of their careers.
If the question is too vague, I'll give a hint.

They all batted against Satchel Paige.

If any of them did that, it wasn't in the majors.

They finished their careers in the same city they started, but on a different team.
Ruth - Boston Braves
Mays - New York Mets
Aaron - Milwaukee Brewers

That is one I knew. I would have got it if I saw the question earlier.

I guess I'm up with a fresh question...
How many players have played all 9 positions in one game? Who were they? If you wait until Sunday to answer, you may need you add one more.
