Richie Ashburn. Heard the story on plenty of Phillies brodcasts as he was the color guy there for years.

My Autograph Collection Website Emphasis is on the 1969 Cubs. This is still a work in progress as is my collection here at TCDB. Value what you collect, don't collect for value.

Has to be Rickey Henderson. As far as how many total I would guess around 1500.

I agree with obxyankeefan. Gotta be Henderson. He's got to have 500 more stolen bases than Brock and probably a couple hundred HRs. Doesn't he have the most leadoff HR's? Would think Bonds could be the only 500+ HR hitter to have a high enough stolen base count to even matter, and I think after he left Pittsburgh and started bulking up that was the end of the stolen bases. Has to be Henderson by a ton. 1400SB 200-250 HR. 1600

Rickey = 1406 + 297 = 1703
Barry = 762 + 514 = 1276
From what I saw, no one had as many HRs and SBs combined as Rickey had SBs. Kind of a trick question. :) But made you think.
OBX - you're up!

I had the 300 Homers but forgot how many SBs Rickey had.
Ok Brandon Marrow pitched in all 7 games of the World Series for the Dodgers last year, name the only other pitcher to do this.

A man has to have goals — for a day, for a lifetime — and that was mine, to have people say, "There goes Ted Williams, the greatest hitter who ever lived."
