Has to be Dog River. it is painted on ther Grain Silo

A couple of years ago in a town outside Philadelphia PA at a hockey rink they had some USA curling. Since I was working to dinner time I thought I go to the Bon something, eat and watch matchs. 1st thing that got to me was working at Walmart and seeing players and family shopping all decked out. 2nd was when I went the place was packed in parking lot. So I missed out

I just wondered how they got it to be played here because I think of upper mid west as a hot spot not Philly

Yes Bochi ball, and even lawn bowling have aspects of curling in them. Lawn bowling (don't knock it until you try it, sad it only ever made it as a demonstration sport in the summer olys) uses balls that are actually ovalish (hard to explain) and that makes them curl, kind of like a spinning curling stone.

And finally ............ we GREAT canadians have taken curling to new heights ...... Crokicurl !!! Here is an explanation, and it seriously looks like a blast!
