I PC Griffey and there are so many printing errors that people post up for hundreds or thousands of dollars. Sure they are cool, I have some color blasts and wrong front/back errors that I've picked up for a couple of dollars but I would never pay more than that for a printing error.

The question I have is, is there any version of this card that doesn't show a slight scar on his arm just above his jearssy number? I just looked at a dozen or so ebay photos and I'm not seeing any significant difference.

The answer is...no. Every single version has some sort of flaw on the arm. The most common is red, second most common is yellow (both of which are extremely easy to find) and the third is brown. Topps tried to airbrush it in the final run and match it to his arm, but you can still see the mark. This is the far more difficult version to find.
I'm NOT saying any of these hold any significant value, so please don't misinterpret what I am saying.

If I can find it, I have one with a green tint around the outline of the scar. Again, pointless in my opinion. This ranks up there with the 1987 Topps Barry Bonds #396 where the three is slightly missing. It's literally on every card!

The real question is... are any of these cards worth grading? I have 3 bloody scars, and a photo-shopped brown over the scar. I've been saving them for years in toploaders. I'm trying to clear out some of my collection, not expecting a lot of $$ for my Griffey "bloody scar" cards.

So if one was to have a blank back bloody scar its safe to assume they are retried?

Absolutely not. NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE SAYS. The blotch will always be present and only "changes color" due to varying ink levels.
Also, since this always comes up too: no, that isn't a 1990 Topps Griffey blank back, it is a box card cut from the top of the box.
