Joe Beckwith Forum

Just the 2nd player of the 1985 World Series Champions, the Kansas City Royals, to pass away (Dan Quisenberry being the other).  He was also a member of the 1981 World Series Champs, Los Angeles Dodgers, but missed the season due to double vision (it was reported that he received a World Series ring in 1981 anyway) -- and I believe he is the 5th 1981 Dodger player to pass away (Steve Howe, Bob Welch, Bobby Castillo, & Jay Johnstone being the others).

He signed through the mail for me about 15 years ago.
