1987 Sportflics Baseball Forum

A brief history:

The set originally listed 200 cards, no variations.
We were told that a variation of every card existed. We did some research and multiple sources claimes that all cards had a (c) 1986 line on the back and of the other 200 variants, 175 had (c) 1987 and the other 25 had no copyright line text. We added the other 200 cards as indicated.

Recently, we found out that this information was not correct! (Thanks bzjr68.)

The actual configuration for this set is as follows:

200 cards have (c) 1986
200 cards have (c) 1987
25 cards have no copyright text

Therefore, 175 cards have 2 versions, and 25 cards have 3 versions. (There are 2 exceptions, as those cards had errors that were corrected, cards 24 and 71.)

These updates have now been made. We are also in the process of determining which images here are not correct. We don't need everyone submitting IRs to say that the image on the (c) 1987 version isn't correct. We know a lot of them are not, and we'll be handling that. However, when you see a missing image, please be sure to upload a scan of the correct version for that spot. That is currently "open season". But, please, be careful to get them correct. Since there are now a lot of eyes on this set, they will be spotted and removed.
