Sorry I'm alittle late to the party, but I was adding these to my collection last night and I noticed that not all the postcards are listed for this, It stops after the 1995 induction class. How do I (or anyone else) go about adding the cards after 1995 to this?

Well, I semi-committed to supplying the full list of HOF postcards to the Admin, but haven't gotten around to it yet. I believe there's one card for every HOFer there is. If Admin gets that list, s/he'll fully update the checklist. There are currently 317 in all. Feel free to beat me to it....

I am glad this is being taken care of. I have a lot of these and always wondered where to put them on the site.
The HoF continually adds to the set by issuing new postcards for the current year inductees. It is a fun set of postcards to collect.
Not to add to the confusion, but I have been to Cooperstown on induction day and it is very popular for people to take these cards to the Cooperstown Post Office and have them postmarked from the day of the induction. I know when adding a card to the database you can say if it was auto’d or graded, should the ability to mark these postmarked also be there. I personally do not care, but some die hards might. If the option is there, I would use it since I have a couple from the ceremony I went to.

I think they listed Detroit as the primary team as he was with them longer than any other team. I would think its obvious that the card should be a Phillies card.
Muskie, I believe you can leave a comment when making a detailed add, if I had these postmarked, I would probably list it as autographed then in the comment part just say Postmarked on induction day or something similar.

Does this mean I'm off the hook on giving a list of all 317 HOFers to the Admin? Is the Great and Glorious Sandyrusty doing this? Because that's what the checklist should ultimately reflect.
And, of course, every year in July, this checklist would need to be updated and the years of the cards changed.

So as I am editing this set, I come across Jim Bunning which wasn't listed (inducted 1996). Doing research on the Hall's site, they show primary team Detroit Tigers yet his plaque is clearly in a Phillies uniform. ???

V3, I will continue to update. I am through to the "C". Admin has bigger and better things to work on that we can't. I'll send you my bill later.

Fantastic! Thanks. I just checked the HOF giftshop website today. Your goal is definitely a checklist of 317, since they sell the complete set of that number. But I see tremendous progress on the checklist already.

Ditto for Carlton Fisk. I remember at the time, it was questioned / asked if he could go in with both the White Sox / Red Sox representation. Probably the most fitting for this acknowledgement.
