Border Colors... No Way!

Going through my almost complete 1997 Topps set. I was today years old when I realized that players on American League teams have a red-brown border and players on National League teams have a green border. Learn something new every day!

I knew about these two colors, however I was unaware that they were color-coded for the AL and NL. Thanks for sharing...

It is the same idea as the 1992 Upper Deck where the red/green stripe on back of the card also indicates league.

Topps did AFC/NFC color coding with the football sets 1996-1998. ------------------------------- *Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.*
