I was just going through some Topps Company store cards and came across a few with different colored backs, not the bright white (left) or gray (right) but in the OPC cream color (center) in my image. Has anyone noticed this? I looked to see if there was a company store set under OPC but there is not.

What packaging was it pulled from? Wax packs; cello packs; jumbo packs, rack packs?

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

If I knew that I would tell you and know where to list. To the best of my knowledge, they were pulled from some pack at some point in the last 33 years. Thats all I know other than I got them in a large lot.

Did you by chance pull them from packs?

I believe those cards are already listed with the different backs. Just look at "Inserts & Related Sets" under 1989 Topps.

If OPC had of released these there would have been a "Skill testing question" , usually a simple 4-part math question. Our government doesn't believe in games of chance (unless it's for charity), so to make it legal a STQ must be answered correctly to claim your prize.
Here's an example that was used to win an Xbox 360 -- Multiply 90 by 2, divide by 6 and multiply by 12 = _____

I always wondered what the story with the math test was! Thanks!

I did not know that. The text is the same on all of these. Even states "open to US residents". Probably a case of Topps sourcing cardstock from any place they could to keep the presses running.
