Yeah, a card is a card. By making this checklist, Richard Sherman (and others) now has two 2016 Donruss #____ on his individual checklist. No reason a player collector should be duped into buying two of the same card. It's not like a Sherman fan can go online and buy that single card and tell the seller, I need to be sure this came out of a "team set" box and not a pack. Once a card enters the secondary market, there's no way of knowing. Factory sets have barcodes too. We don't duplicate checklists for those. Just doesn't make sense. The cards are the same. We arent documenting every aspect od the hobby. We are a database for cards. A scan of the team set in the box would be suitable, even desirable, for the packaging section of 2016 Donruss. In fact, it's an excellent idea. But the cards are the same.
I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
