2006-07 Extreme Brampton Battalion (OHL) Hockey Forum

Does anyone know if this is the Denny's set?  I have a Justin Levac card, unknown whereabouts, playing for Brampton.  Maybe this is it.  I happened to search his name because I'm about to leave to go watch him play.  Danville Dashers home opener tonight!  This was the first time I ever got a result when I searched him.  I'll have to look for the card to see if the card number matches.  It could be anywhere. 

Yes, the cards have the Denny's logo on the front.

By the way, Levac isnt on the team this year. They never update their website, so I didnt know who was gone.

It was fun. Danville came from behind to win 3-2 in OT.  Lots of unfamiliar players.  I had to Google baby shark to know what you were talking about!

I won't make the Danville game tonight, because the local high school football team went 9-0 this year and will be hosting a playoff game for the first time ever!  We have actually made the playoffs three other times in our history, but always a far away road game, and always a loss.  This is a pretty big deal in Paris, and I can't miss it!  You gotta realize, my whole four years in high school combined, I think we won three games.  We once had a losing streak that lasted about four years.  Finally broke that streak with a forfeit victory, because the other school's teachers were on strike.  Our football history is abysmal.

Still love my HS Barons Football Club, since the Catholic schools and 7 man and 13 man leauges all amalgmated though we too have been on hard times. With more teams we no longer dominate like we did in the 80/90 decades. I can understand your excitement, and of course are behind your guys 100%. Can we post video on here? Or can I link a tweet somehow? I do have JR dancing to Psy and had to do it sneaky like lol.

We won 42-14.  Road game next week, due to an odd Illinois rule stating that a team who opens on the road and wins, gets to play at home next week, unless both teams won on the road.  So #2 seed has to travel to the 10 seed because they pulled off a road upset today.

I get the point of the rule. Taxpayers put the gas in the team bus.  Families may have a lot of driving if their mediocre kids overperform and keep advancing.  But at the same time, we are being punished because the 7 seed couldn't get the job done at home. It makes sense in 7A and 8A, where most/all the teams are either in Chicagoland or East St. Louis.  But not in the lower four classes, where low seeds should just be happy they won a tiebreaker to get in.  On the bright side, the game is in Effingham, which, as you may know, has a card shop!!
