2001 Topps Traded & Rookies Baseball Forum

Are the parallel Chrome versions of these cards identical to the ones issued as part of the Chrome Traded and Rookies set?  They aren't listed as a parallel of the regular Traded and Rookies set in the price guides I have (Beckett). 

What Chrome Traded and Rookies set are you talking about?

For 2001 Traded "Each 10-card pack contained eight 2001 Topps Traded and two 2001 Topps Chrome Traded cards." thus making them a parallel set. In 1999 and 2000 the Chrome version was released in factory set form. Those paralleled their "paper" versions that were also issued in FS form.

Thanks for the reply.  So were the Chrome Traded and Rookies ONLY available as inserts in the Traded and Rookies packs?  In other words, unlike the normal Chrome set, they weren't issued in their own packs?  

Yes, in 2001 the Chrome were only issued in packs of regular flagship 2001 Topps (2 per pack).
