Consensus? One member, rmpaq5, is not a consensus. This site is about accuracy and completeness. Documenting and cataloging the complete card, not half the card.

Considering the tangent that everyone went on, an actual reply was the concensus. The main reason I even asked the question was b/c a Clemens collector looking at that card with no prior knowledge of the set would wonder where Clemens is on the card. The "front" as the others are scanned will not mention him at all. If it's opened and scanned, it becomes clear. rmpac5 brought up a very good point about the site resizing the scan though. I still haven't scanned mine yet. I still think they should be scanned unfolded with the inside of the fold being the front scan and the true back of the card with the top half of the false front being the back scan. But if they come out looking like they are the same size as the regular base cards, it still isn't accurate!

No, they don't come out looking the same size as the others. Check some of the links I posted earlier.

And I still contend that the outside of a folded card is the "front" and the inside is the "back".

My concern on sizing was that when the card image uploaded was resized by the site, it would create a funhouse mirror like effect. Since the card is now almost twice as "tall" when reformated by the site it could squish the image down making the card look "short and fat" for lack of a better description. I got one of the cards I scanned in the past, unfolded, and placed the image on site.

No squishy. I will leave this image as is for a while so others can see and put it back the way it was tonight.
My 2 cents of front and back. The image showing right now as the back as part of my little experiment should be the front, and the part that you see with the stats when unfolded back. Depending on how the card is designed and unfolds would determine what is front and what is back. Could be different for different sets. Just go with what looks right.

Actually Billy I don't think that is necessary. The unfolded scan is clear and not distorted.

The T201s are scanned correctly on this site. Outside I'd front. Inside is back. Full card is scanned nicely on both sides.
I have spoken.
