I was wondering if we need to add, perhaps as a related set, the uncut sheets. These cards come in the SI Kids magazine as a single page with 9 cards (perforated). For example, The Spetember 2018 Issue contains cards #755-763. I personally leave the cards inside the magazine and store them in a typical magazine poly bag with a magazine board to prevent them from getting bent. It never bothered me until I started entering these cards into my collection and realized that I have a problem cataloging the cards in my "For trade" pile. I don't want to break up the cards, so I would really prefer not to list them separately on my trade list.
My opinion is that we should perhaps add a set that would include something like:
755-763: Ben Simmons, Luka Modric...etc
with perhaps a note in the Note2 field that this sheet was released in the September 2018 issue.
I am willing to add the set and make up the checklist if people think it's worthwhile as well as add images for the sheets I have (I don't have a complete set...)
Thoughts?
Glenn

Makes sense to me. I think we have the Hostess panels both ways, don't we?

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

switzr is correct. I've been working on box bottoms and box panels. Both are listed, individual and panel form. Other than the major releases, I plan on doing all the Drakes as well. There is some disagreement on this subject, but they are here and listable.

Personally, I am against this practice. This creates 2 entries for any specific card, and that's not ideal. I can understand if the cards were issued in panels and individually, but not if they were only issued in one form. Either do it in the full panel as it was issued in the magazine (in this case) or do the 9 separate cards. Not both.
I think there should only be one listing for any item. Just my opinion on the matter.
Glenn, I would drop a PM to Admin to ask if adding the full magazine inserts is proper. Please wait for an answer before proceeding.

Good idea Dan. I fired off a message to Admin. Honestly, both methods have benefits and problems. Sheets only causes problems for those who only have individual cards. Cards only cuases problems for those who have full sheets.
Will update this thread when Admin gets back to me...

Maybe purpose should be foremost in our criteria for product such as these. For example if these or some food issues are perforated then obviously they were to be separated, whereas items like the 1985 Topps foldables were not to be separated.

Correct, and that's the crux, I've had requests for 1 card, and I've had requests for full panels. Afterthought, I think if the panel was issued first, then there might not be a problem. Then, if a single card was wanted, the seller trader has an option how to trade. The original form was a panel, not cutout cards. My 2 cents.

If they are listed as cards, if you have the panel, you have 9 cards.
If they are listed as panels, and you have 1 card, you have one ninth of an item.

To add to my point, though, if these from the original post are perforated, then I believe they should be listed only as singles since that's the intended purpose for the perforation.

Unlike the intended purpose of stickers?

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.
