2006 Bowman Heritage Baseball Forum

I have researched this parallel set and do not understand why some of the hobby has designated them as a Chrome set.  In my research on different sources for the hobby, I found them referred to as "Foil", "Rainbow" and yes, Chrome.  But by 2006, Bowman were issuing a separate brand as Bowman Crome for the majority of their sets using a completely different paper stock and the front of the cards were clearly marked as being "Chrome".  These are not.  They have a foil front finish on the same paper stock as the Base set. I personally think this parallel set is more correctly named "Foil".

baseballcardpedia and comc.com calls them "Silver Foil"

Renamed to "Silver Foil" to be more in line with the rest of the hobby.
