Whoever loaded this checklist up and identified an error on the #2 card failed to say what the error is. Anyone know?

I haven't seen it personally, but some posts on other boards report #186 is missing the check box. At least one site reports variations in all 5 checklists:

Big Bob, don't get me wrong, I don't collect errors such as these. I only asked the question because this site shows the card as having an ERR yet it is not explained in the notes. I personally don't look to get a card of each; I only want to complete my set including a set of the checklists. I have a #2, just don't know which it is.

I'm the same way. I don't usually care about variations (though my stand on this has softened since Topps dropped the sparkles), but I want to be sure I mark the correct version of a card. If I end up with doubles and offer one for trade, I need to be sure the other guy is getting what he expects.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Guys..no...totally, I agree with you...If I see an error, or a variation or a variation of an error on a variation card...Yep...gotta see it, and if I can get it...yep...gonna get it...That's the collector geek in me (Yes, we are, but who cares)...But now I have seen (Or read in this case) all....on a checklist card...Speaking of which, I think the 1981 Fleer baseball had errors on their checklist cards...

Only about 5 of 'em in '81 Fleer. I recall seeing quite a few errors in that set back then even though I was still a kid. Wish I had took better care of them at the time, and not marked my checklists.
