2003 Rookie Review Multi-Sport Forum

Anyone know what this set is? The naming looks weird, and it's a very oddly numbered checklist. Anyone have more information; is this all there is? Are we missing cards? Manufacturer? Thanks in advance.

Edit to add that the manufacturer based on the one scan is "Rookie Review" and we have a few other checklists for 2002 and 2004; 2002 is missing a majority of numbers, and there appears to be a little overlap from one to the other as far as numbers are concerned. I don't have time to research in depth right now, but maybe someone can get some eyes on this set so any changes necessary (if any) can be made?

Did you try PM-ing the member who created the listing here? They are fairly new, so a seasoned vet like yourself could help by doing a little mentoring. :)

I moved it to Oddball because it certainly isn't a major release, removed the extra 2003, and updated total cards.

Thanks Dan - haven't sent any PMs first, wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything glaring like a release note or something similar. Looks like a pretty good candidate for a set that should be listed using the new multi-year set grouping, due to the presence of the 2002 and 2004 sets using the same numbering, but I am unsure of the details of that new feature.

I swear I looked for this set a few days ago but could not find it, I started to build a checklist of my own. 

I know they came in the "Rookie Review" magazine. The one I have I received at the national convention. Don't know what years they span or full checklist.

They are indeed a magazine issue. They are noted because they produced the first ever LeBron James card, when he was still in high school in 2002. I'm not sure if I posted the scans or lost them to a hard drive crash, but I do have that card somewhere. I got it as a single so I cannot provide further checklist information. 

I'm new today so Hello to any that see this!  I Have a question about the 2003 Rookie Review cards.   Most I see are the simple RR cards, but have come across a few that actually says SUBSCRIPTION roughly 1/4 the way up the card.  Has Anyone else seen any, & if so, how many are there of say soley the Sidney Crosby card?

 I ask cause I truly cant find Anything about the Subscription cards!  I "heard" they are much more Rare, and About $150 difference in price.

 Does anyone possibly have any knowledge of this, and could tell me any other facts about these cards no matter how silly it may seem?  Id love to hear from anyone that may know how this truly worked etc.  I do remember my good friend had the magazine, and The "SUBSCRIPTION" thats witten on some Definitely came In the new Mag.  

 I was just told there are ONLY a Very few of this type, so they surely couldn't  & wouldn't send to every subscriber.  I think they got 1 lucky card, but I'm possibly way off.  Any Information would help greatly!  THANK YOU KINDLY!  ✌🏼🍀🏒
