While compiling my trade/want lists, I'm finding many cards that aren't scanned on the site.  I have no scanner but would like to get some of these cards scanned and put on the site starting with this set. If I sent these cards to a trusted member, could they be scanned and sent back to me?  Maybe we already have a designated scanner here I don't know about?  Any thoughts? 

There might be someone who would do that for you. There are many nice people on the site. I just don't know if they would do something like that. Also some might consider doing it but would want to get paid for their work, or get some sort of trade out of it.

Actually a designated scanner sounds like a nice idea, although a big obvious problem would be the safety of the cards while traveling to and from the scanner. There is a likely hood that the package containing the cards to be scanned would get damaged or lost.

a cheap printer/scanner is very affordable. Unless you don't have free time. There is even some free download software mentioned in the forums.

i have an older scanner (2001) USB if you are interested. 

barely used, just taking up room in our basement.
