Looks like the teams are in alphabetical order, except for the Angels first, because Topps only calls them the Angels. The outlier is the Cleveland Guardians, which I am guessing will be the last card on this list, for no particular reason.

Good job noticing that about the teams.
The Angels thing I believe stems back to the "Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim" legal suit that was filed. Topps just decides to "un-locate" them so a matter if CYA policy.

Fanatics wouldn't even deal with us. I mean, they were nice and all. But they essentially pushed us off t go through a third party vendor. I assume to artificially inflate the price point, as the third party has to take his cut.

I’ve been tracking the “Carrying The Flag” cards on eBay. The only teams I currently need for the checklist are the Diamondbacks, White Sox, Astros, Pirates, and Rays. If anyone knows any of these, please let me know. Thanks!

Down to just needing the players for the White Sox and Astros and I will have the checklist ready to post. Let me know if you see either of those cards. Thanks!

This is great to see the "work" already going in to this unique set! Grabbed me two boxes of these, this past Tuesday, after my VA Medical Center Infusion Session. I was so pleased, as it took me back to the early 1990's and the pursuit of trading cards at SAM's Club (always trying to find a way to BEAT OUT The swarm of Dealers piled at the Doors). Will not open these boxes until Late December (Birthday). Will have to exercise extreme discipline & self-control (acquired during the 40 years that I spent in a military uniform) to avoid the temptation of opening these boxes in late November or before late December. Thanks again to Each of You for Your insight, checklists and "work" on this Special 2023 Topps COSTCO Flagship Set!!
Yours in The Hobby - Felix

I just finished the base set, thanks for bringing this in to the warehouses. I work out of the home office - I assume you're D28?

In case anybody is interested/wondering - The P.O.s are cut for the 2024 version. It will be essentially the same bundle, except S2 with some S1. Shipments are currently scheduled to get to the depot on June 12 and land at your local Costco on the 13th or 14th, barring any Fanatics shenanigans.

Thanks for taking the time to give everyone a heads-up.
Series 2 product is often a "challenging" product from a checklist, collectability, and value standpoint. This year I fear it will be much worse than typical Series 2 set due to lack of significant stars and rookies remaining to be included in the set (so much was included in series 1 checklist).
Hopefully the exclusive "Flagship" Set will return with a shortened and dense checklist as was before. As long as price-point remains near what it was last year I'd expect this will be another success for Costco and customers. :-)
