The Game Used Lumber Relics cards come in 2 thicknesses: 260pt thickness for cards containing a barrel portion of the bat and 180pt thickness for cards having a thin cut of bat.
From what I have seen, the following parallels will have only barrel pieces and therefore be 260pt thickness:
Gold, Silver, Red, Emerald, Navy Blue, Pewter
From what I have seen, the following parallels will have only flat pieces and therefore be 180pt thickness:
Bronze, Purple
This leave the Platinum parallel, which can contain both barrel and flat pieces of bat and has cards of both thicknesses.
I have attached pictures showing the difference between 2 Olerud cards. (SN 1 - SN 6 would be 180pt and SN7 - SN8 are 260pt).
I understand that simple relic differences are not listable, but since this is a different physical construction characteristic of the card, would this be an allowed variation?
Has this situation come up with any other set before?
The Platinum parallel can have up to 20 cards based on the player. I wonder if the SN 1 - SN 6 for all players are the 180pt thickness and cards SN7 and up are 260pt thickness or maybe it depends on a particular sheet if at least one card on that sheet needs to be 260pt, then they are all 260pt. (more research on this is required)
If you have any of the platinum parallels, I would be curious if your follow the same pattern.
Here is an example of another card that looks like it has the 260pt thickness: https://www.ebay.com/itm/225464810818
